Happy Wednesday!

I’ve been working (and shopping) hard on getting my apartment together with all of this free time on my hands. Things are finally coming together, and I’m starting to feel like I’m living in a real home.

From art to new furniture pieces to placing old furniture I already had, every little detail I add slowly contributes to the bigger picture I envision for my apartment.

I’ve gotta say: although it’s always been my nature to get everything done as soon as possible when I move, having this massive project to focus on while we’re quarantine is a huge anxiety relief for me. It’s nice to have some tangible things to get my hands on. And being stuck in a place that feels like me is super comforting.

I hope you are all staying healthy, both physically and mentally. And that you’re finding some creative outlet to keep you going.

Check out my video below where you can see all of the updates so far in my apartment! More updates to come, because I’m doing something almost every day. To get daily updates on what’s happening, make sure you’re following me on Instagram @homeyhomeis!
